PHOENIX -- Valley temperatures continue to peak well above normal for this time of year, even though autumn is only two days away.
Overnight lows continue to stay nice and cool, and most of the Valley was in the 70s to start the day again on Thursday. This afternoon, temperatures will peak near 104 degrees, which is about five degrees above average for this time of year.
Mostly sunny skies can be expected today, tomorrow and Saturday, with temperatures not forecast to change much.
On Sunday, the high-pressure ridge starts to shift east and our heat eases up a bit.
A dry storm system is expected to bring our temperatures back to the upper 90s to start next week.
