PHOENIX -- The Valley will see cooler temperatures and possibly some rain later this week.
The mild Thanksgiving weekend weather will stretch through Tuesday, but a storm will develop over the western third of the country mid-week.
The Phoenix area will see a chance of rain between late Wednesday and early Thursday.
Little rainfall is expected because the storm system, which is moving from the north, should mostly dry out before reaching the Valley.
Northern Arizona could see scattered snow showers with the snow level at 5,000 feet, but no major accumulations are expected.
The storm will drop temperatures to well below normal levels through next weekend.
