PHOENIX - Don't miss an opportunity to clean up your shelves and make room for those new Christmas presents by taking part in the "I Recycle Phoenix Festival" put on by the City of Phoenix Public Works Department, Keep Phoenix Beautiful and dozens of other local organizations.

The public is invited to come down on Friday, Dec. 28 to Christown Spectrum Mall, located at 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road, behind Wal-Mart. The free event will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will serve as one convenient location for recycling a variety of items including electronics, telephone books, Christmas trees, holiday decorations, regular recyclables, clothing, toys and more. Participants can also have their old computer hard drives and personal documents shredded and recycled.

For more information visit www.phoenixrecycles.org or call 602-262-4820.
