PHOENIX -- When you've been jumping out of a plane for at least a decade, like Niklas Daniel and Brianne Thompson, you're ready to make old tricks new again.

"You start coming up with different and creative ways to incorporate things into skydiving," said Daniel, who has been skydiving for 10 years. "This just seems like the appropriate thing in the middle of the summer."

The married couple came up with a way to cool off between dives by landing on a Slip 'N Slide.

For the perfect landing, they had to jump out of the plane at 5,000 feet above the ground instead of the usual 30,000, opening the parachute as soon as they jumped.

"I followed him. I was the second person down, so he turned first and he was probably a 1,000 feet lower than me when he came in," said Thompson, who has been skydiving for 14 years. "And then a few seconds later, I did my turn and I was the person right behind him."

The couple teaches extreme sky diving for a living in Eloy and says this isn't the last stunt we'll see from them.

"Preferably, if we could incorporate fire somehow, that would probably be awesome," Daniel said.
