ADOT to auction cars, equipment on Saturday

PHOENIX -- The Arizona Department of Transportation announced it will auction surplus equipment on Saturday to the general public.

ADOT said in a statement that 51 sedans and pickup trucks, three snow plows and other pieces of equipment that have been replaced over time will be up for auction on April 19.

Other items include dump trucks, office trailers, air compressors, arrow boards and assorted construction equipment.

Potential bidders can inspect the items for auction Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the ADOT Equipment Services Auction Yard at 2350 S. 22nd Ave. in Phoenix.

Anyone who wishes to bid can register ahead of time, though they must still register in person.

The ADOT vehicles and equipment will be sold on an "as-is, where-is" basis. More information about the auction, including an item list, is available at
