PHOENIX -- A fairly weak cold front is brushing through eastern Arizona Tuesday keeping temperatures from warming up too much. In fact, on Wednesday, many Arizona locations will actually be cooler than Tuesday. After that, a ridge of high pressure will build in from the Pacific, bringing much warmer weather for the weekend. Around metro Phoenix we should see highs in the low 80s both Saturday and Sunday.
It's also going to be unseasonably warm in the high country for the weekend as well. If you're headed to one of our major ski resorts, expect springtime conditions with lots of sunshine.
So even though we're going to start off the month of March with warmer than average weather, it looks like February 2013 will go down as another cooler than average month. With two days left, the average high has been 68 and the average low 45. That's about 2 degrees below average.
