Before you head out the door this weekend, make a note of these weekend construction projects from the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), so that you can avoid the traffic tie-ups.

*Westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) off ramp at Hawes Road closed from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (May 14) for drilling in conjunction with construction of State Route 24. DETOUR: To access Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, use southbound Power Road to eastbound Ray Road.

*Westbound I-10 in the Chandler area narrowed to one lane between Riggs Road and Wild Horse Pass Boulevard from 9:30 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday (May 15) for lane striping. Note: I-10 restrictions between Riggs Road and Wild Horse Pass and at the Queen Creek Road interchange continue overnight Tuesday (May 15) and Wednesday (May 16).

*US 60 (Superstition Freeway) narrowed to three lanes in each direction at Rural Road from 11 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday (May 12) for median wall repair. HOV lane also closed. DETOUR: Obey reduced speed limit and signage in work zone.
