SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Construction and street improvement projects could mean traffic tie-ups in Scottsdale. Here's a rundown of the city's projects.

RESTRICTIONS ON SHEA BOULEVARD:

*Shea Boulevard will be restricted east and westbound between 124th Street and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through March 11 for curb and gutter replacement.

*Eastbound Shea Boulevard will be restricted at 120th Street from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through March 11 for curb and gutter replacement.

*Shea Boulevard between Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and 124th Street will be reduced to one lane in both directions from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 14 through March 18 for street overlay.

PIMA ROAD FROM DEER VALLEY TO PINNACLE PEAK ROADS:

As part of the improvements on Pima Road between Deer Valley and Pinnacle Peak roads, the following traffic restrictions are scheduled as crews work to install new curb, gutter, driveways, sidewalks and pavement:

*Northbound Pima Road between Paraiso Drive and the Pinnacle Peak intersection has been increased to two lanes.

*Traffic on Pima Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction and shifted to the northbound side of the street between Paraiso Drive and the Deer Valley channel through May.

*Pinnacle Peak Road traffic is shifted to the north side of the street and will continue to be reduced to one lane in each direction. Left turns are allowed at the Pinnacle Peak and Pima intersection. Traffic and signal timing will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate construction activity.

When complete, Pima Road will consist of six lanes (three southbound and three northbound) with a landscaped median from the Deer Valley alignment to Pinnacle Peak Road. This will include widening the road through the Pinnacle Peak Road intersection to its ultimate configuration. The project also will include drainage improvements, non-motorized multi-use trails and a public art element in the design.

NEW UTILITY AND STREET WORK THROUGHOUT THE CITY:

*The northbound curb lane on 64th Street and Thomas Road will be restricted from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through March 14.

*Westbound Cactus Road will be restricted at 94th Street through March 10.

*The intersection of Westland Drive and Pima Road will be restricted in all directions from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through March 18.

*The east and westbound median lanes will be restricted on Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard between 92nd and 100th streets from 4 a.m. to noon on March 12 for tree trimming.

CONTINUING UTILITY AND STREET WORK THROUGHOUT THE CITY:

*The intersection of 76th Street and Greenway/Hayden Loop will be restricted eastbound from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through March 7.

*Westland Drive will be restricted in both directions at Pima Road from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through March 18.
