MESA, Ariz. -- Traffic on westbound U.S. 60 near Crismon Road was backed up for more than an hour Thursday morning due to a multi-vehicle collision.
Bart Graves with the Arizona Department of Public Safety said the collision occurred at 9:21 a.m.
Three vehicles were involved in the incident. A car and a Greenlee County Sheriff's Office vehicle were involved in a rear-end collision. Both vehicles were damaged.
Another car sustained front-end damage and was stopped against a guardrail.
At this time, it is unclear what caused the accident.
