FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) -- National Weather Service forecasters say it's going to be a snowy night across much of northern Arizona.
A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 5 p.m. above 6,500 feet.
Forecasters say snowfall will gradually decrease across the Flagstaff area after sunset.
Snowfall amounts Thursday range from 1 to 4 inches for the western Mogollon Rim, the Flagstaff-area and the Chuska Mountains.
Snow levels Thursday afternoon range from 6,500 to 7,000 feet and will fall to 6,000 to 6,500 feet Thursday evening.
Expect hazardous winter driving conditions the rest of Thursday in northern Arizona.
