Eastbound I-10  closed Friday night for tunnel maintenance
Loop 202 restricted near Priest Drive for pavement repairs
 
PHOENIX — A stretch of eastbound Interstate 10 near the Deck Park Tunnel in Phoenix will be closed Friday night for maintenance work, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. The Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway will be restricted near Priest Drive over the weekend for pavement repairs. Drivers are encouraged to consider alternate routes and allow extra travel time while the following weekend freeway restrictions are in place:
 
•Eastbound Interstate 10 closed overnight between the I-17 ‘Stack’ interchange and Seventh Street from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 5) for tunnel maintenance. Eastbound I-10 on-ramps at 19th and Seventh avenues also closed. DETOUR: Eastbound I-10 traffic can use southbound I-17 to travel beyond the closure and reconnect with eastbound I-10 near Sky Harbor Airport.
 
•Westbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) narrowed to one lane between Priest Drive and Van Buren Street from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 5) for pavement repairs. DETOUR: Please consider alternate routes, allow extra travel time and be prepared to merge safely in work zone. 
 
•Eastbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) narrowed to one lane between Van Buren Street and Priest Drive from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 6) for pavement repairs. DETOUR: Please consider alternate routes, allow extra travel time and be prepared to merge safely in work zone. 

• Eastbound Interstate 10 closed overnight between the I-17 ‘Stack’ interchange and Seventh Street from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday

•Westbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) narrowed to one lane between Priest Drive and Van Buren Street from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday
