PHOENIX — Interstate 10 westbound has reopened at the Loop 202 Santan Freeway after a police incident, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
However, ADOT says travelers should still expect delays or take an alternate route as there is a lengthy backup on westbound I-10. Drivers heading into the Phoenix area from Casa Grande should consider exiting well ahead of the incident site, including onto northbound SR 587 (the Casa Blanca Road exit). SR 587 transitions into SR 87 and leads drivers into metro Phoenix.
Eastbound I-10 remained open during the incident.
