PHOENIX – Drivers can expect only limited restrictions along Valley freeways this weekend (July 20-23). Crews will be working along Interstate 10 near Cotton Lane in the West Valley as construction continues on the Loop 303/Interstate 10 Interchange project.
ADOT recommends drivers allow extra time and consider alternate routes while the following restrictions are in place:
• Interstate 10 (Papago Freeway) narrowed to one lane in both directions overnight between Cotton Lane and Estrella Parkway from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 7:30 a.m. Saturday (July 21) for lane striping. The I-10 on- and off-ramps at Estrella Parkway also will be closed. DETOUR: Please allow extra travel time and use caution in the work zone. Consider using the on- and off-ramps at Bullard Avenue.
• Eastbound Interstate 10 narrowed to one lane overnight between Cotton Lane and Estrella Parkway from 10 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday (July 22) for lane striping. The eastbound I-10 off-ramp at Estrella Parkway will be closed. DETOUR: Please allow extra travel time and use caution in work zone. Consider using the eastbound off-ramp at Bullard Avenue.

ADOT plans and constructs new freeways, additional lanes and other major improvements as part of the 20-year Regional Transportation Plan for the Maricopa County region. The primary funding source is a half-cent sales tax approved by county voters in 2004. More information about ADOT projects and the regional plan is available at www.ValleyFreeways.com.
