UPDATE: One lane has been reopened in both directions on Interstate 10, about 12 miles west of Salome Road (milepost 69), according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. One lane both east and westbound will remain closed while crews work to clear the roadway after a serious crash.
 
Drivers in the area may continue to experience delays.
 

UPDATE: One eastbound lane of Interstate 10 has reopened about 12 miles west of Salome Road (milepost 69), according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. The westbound lanes of I-10 remain closed after a serious collision around 2:45 p.m.
 
Drivers should avoid the area because delays are expected.
