PHOENIX — A crash has closed Interstate 10 eastbound at the Loop 202 Santan Freeway, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. Traffic is getting by the area on the left shoulder, but drivers should expect long delays in the area.
ADOT advises drivers heading from the Phoenix area to Tucson to avoid delays by using an alternate route. Drivers should consider exiting I-10 to US 60 eastbound, then go south on Loop 101 until reaching the Loop 202 Santan. Drivers should then go east to State Route 87 and turn south to reconnect with I-10.
There is no estimated time to reopen I-10 eastbound.
