COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

A Cobb County inmate is back in custody after he walked away from a work detail Thursday.

An official with the Cobb County Sheriff's Office tells CBS46 that Christopher Pruitt walked off from a Parks and Recreation clean up detail at Fuller Park on Robinson Road.

Pruitt, 47, was later captured after authorities responded to a suspicious person call in the 1600 block of Wildwood Road.

Pruitt was not considered a danger to the public, according to authorities. He was taken back to the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
