Megabus launches new service between Phoenix and Las Vegas

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -

Valley travelers, rejoice! You now have a new option to go to Las Vegas.

Bus company Megabus has launched a new service that goes between Phoenix and Las Vegas.

According to Megabus, there will be two trips a day in each direction with stops in Glendale, Phoenix and Tempe. 

Megabus officials say the Las Vegas route takes travelers directly to the South Strip Transfer Terminal, a short shuttle to the famous Las Vegas Strip.

The bus company currently operates in more than 100 major cities in North America.
