FLAGSTAFF, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -

Twin Arrows Casino Resort in Flagstaff revealed their first security robot on Wednesday, making them the first in the state of Arizona to have a robot working security.

The robot is 400 pounds and stands as tall as some adults. This security robot will roam the casino floor and parking lot to boost security presence and help ensure safety.

Along with keeping the hotel and guests safe, this robot will also interact with guests. However, it does not take personal information but does gather intelligence that helps the security system evaluate situations.

The good news is the robot will not take any human jobs, but instead helps with the current Twin Arrows security team and technology to help maximize efforts, the resort said. The robot's first day is Friday.
