(Meredith) – A Texas woman reaped $1.2 million after placing an $18 bet on a series of races at the Kentucky Derby.

The lucky winner, who did not want to be named, submitted her “Pick 5” wager nearly 1,100 miles away, at the Retama Park racetrack in Salem, Texas on Saturday.

She became a millionaire when she correctly picked the winning horses in five consecutive races, including Justify in the main event.

The woman took home about the same amount of money as Justify’s team, who won $1.4 million, according to the Associated Press.

Rachel Bagnetto, a spokeswoman for Retama Park, told ABC News “it’s unheard” to win that much money on such a small wager.

“It's extremely rare. To bet that little amount of money and win $1.2 million is unheard of. In fact, it’s the first time it’s happened at Retama,” said Bagnetto.

Retama Park also shared a photo of the woman on Facebook, congratulating her on the big win.
