Nicole Kidman is liking this TV thing. After winning an Emmy last year for HBO's Big Little Lies (her second, after a 2012 win for Hemingway & Gellhorn), Kidman will return to HBO for another adaptation of a book.

HBO has ordered The Undoing, a miniseries based on Jean Hanff Korelitz's book You Should Have Known, Deadline reports. Kidman is set to star in the lead role, and David E. Kelley, who wrote the TV adaptation of Big Little Lies, will write.

The book followed a therapist named Grace whose life is on the up and up... until it all falls to pieces. Just before her book is to be published, Grace's life is rocked by a violent death, a missing husband and many revelations that lead her to question everything. As public disaster consumes her image, she's forced to start over with her young son.

The news comes the same day that Kidman's Big Little Lies co-star Reese Witherspoon saw her next limited series, Little Fires Everywhere, find a home a Hulu.
