(Meredith) – A drunk Norwegian man racked up a huge bill from his taxi ride after he told the driver to take him to three different countries.
According to the BBC, the trip took the 40-something man through Copenhagen in Demark, then to Sweden, and finally back to his home in Oslo, the capital of Norway.
However, once the passenger got to his home, he refused to pay his $2,200 bill. The driver then called the police, but not before the battery in the taxi died, stranding him outside the man’s home.
Police entered the home of the man, who was asleep in his bed. When they woke him up, he agreed to pay the bill. The total distance of the trip was 372 miles.
