Kid allegedly destroys $1,300 worth of Sephora makeupPosted: Updated:
(Meredith) – The internet is not happy. Why? Because a little kid allegedly destroyed $1,300 worth of makeup.
According to the New York Post, Brittany Nelson -- a Sephora shopper, found the wrecked display when she arrived at the store. Nelson said she thought a child was responsible because as she was walking in as "a lady and her kid were hustling out of there," her Facebook post stated.
Nelson's post, which was uploaded to Extraordinary Life Makeup Artistry's page, sheds more light on the situation, claiming the child “probably thought they were like finger paints and had no idea how naughty they were being.”
Granted, her post is giving the child the benefit of the doubt, but she does calls out parents to keep their eyes on their little ones just a little bit more, or even leave them at home.
“Mammas, please shop for your makeup without your tiny humans,” her post continued. “It’s not fun for you or them or the expensive product.”
However, US Magazine said some Facebook users were calling out Nelson for shaming parents.
"Ummmm as a mom of 2 with ZERO help or babysitter ever...I don't appreciate this post. Though I do teach my kids to behave & respect other people's things," one woman commented, according to US magazine.
