PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -

Police bodycam footage reveals more information in the arrest of an action movie actor’s son in Tempe.

In the video released by the Tempe Police Department, you can see officers approach the door of Van Varenberg.

“Am I under arrest?” asks the man on the other side of the door, who later identifies himself as Van Varenberg.  “You guys want some fame or something or what?”

Officers can be heard saying they are investigating reports of noise and fighting.

In another video clip, a man who lives with Van Varenberg tells officers his roommate threatened him.

“Steak knife, butcher’s knife. The blade is pointed at me,” says the roommate. “If I didn’t listen I’d think my parents would be attending my funeral in the next two days.”

Van Varenberg is heard in the video denying trying to hurt his roommate. He was arrested on several charges including aggravated assault and unlawful imprisonment.

San Onofre State Beach is a kind of hidden gem among surfers. But there is something about the view here that looks just a little out of place. It’s a nuclear power plant, right on the beach. Some activists want to send the nuclear waste that's housed at San Onofre to Arizona.
