Officials still searching for man missing from Grand Canyon since August

GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK (3TV/CBS 5) -

Coconino County Sheriff's Office is asking the public's help to find a man who went missing near the Grand Canyon in early August.

According to CCSO, Travis Butler, 37, failed to check out of a hotel outside the Grand Canyon National Park on Aug. 1. 

Butler is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing about 145 pounds with green eyes and brown hair. His vehicle is described as a blue 2017 Nissan Maxima with Ohio license plate FUM5324.

CCSO is urging anyone with information to call their office at 1-800-338-7888 or Silent Witness at 928-774-6111.

CCSO also noted that the photo is quite old compared to his current age. Anyone with more recent photos is also encouraged to contact CCSO.
