San Manuel homeowner attacked during break-in

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -

Authorities in Pinal County are asking the public for help identifying a man who attacked a homeowner after breaking into his home.

Pinal County Sheriff's spokeswoman Navideh Forghani said a homeowner in San Manuel awoke Sunday morning to discover a stranger in his kitchen.

The intruder attacked the homeowner with a screwdriver and then ran away, said Forghani. 

The burglar is a white man with tattoos on his neck and both arms, said Forghani.

He has not been located and Pinal County Sheriff's officials would like anyone with information about him to contact authorities at 520-866-5111.
