South Carolina family travels to Arizona for annual Barrow’s Day on the Lake event

The Mishler family planned a vacation to travel from South Carolina to participate in Barrow Neurological Institute’s Day on the Lake event. The annual September event features over 60 participants, including veterans and children who have physical or neurological disabilities and their families.

Barrow’s Day on the Lake includes participation in water sports, free of charge. Families can enjoy activities including: jet skiing, kayaking, boating, fishing, adapted waterskiing, tubing, wakeboarding and slalom skiing.

Myranda, 15, and Haley, 13, who both use wheelchairs, traveled across the country for a chance to ride the waves and have a unique social experience at Bartlett Lake Marina. 

Barrow’s Day on the Lake event runs all weekend. See more information below:
