Lee reportedly tried to point the gun at somebody else but her "son" told her not to shoot. One of the people then ran and jumped through a bedroom window to escape.

During the interview with police, Lee said "music that had been taken away" from her, which made her upset, but didn't say that was the reason for the shooting, documents said.

Police said they searched Lee's home and found clothing stained with blood. They also found blood on her sandals during the interview, according to court paperwork.
