PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -

A California woman who was kidnapped and then spotted twice in Arizona, was found safe at a Nevada hotel Monday night.

According to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office, Virginia Paris, 55, placed two phone calls to a relative just after 9:00 p.m.

Paris told a relative that she was coming home, called for help and was in the Henderson, Nevada area.

According to the SBCSO, kidnapping suspect Joseph Hetzel, 52, dropped Paris off at the Railroad Pass Casino and Hotel and drove away.

Once Paris alerted the casino staff that she had been kidnapped, Henderson police were called in.

Paris told officers that Hetzel may be on his way to Utah.

Henderson Police officers took Paris to an area hospital where she was treated and reunited with family.

According to SBCSO, Paris ordered a coffee drink and gave the name Virginia. She then went to the bathroom and when she came out, she told a customer she needed help.

Deputies added that Hetzel apparently saw this so he grabbed her and dragged her out of the shop. He then allegedly kicked her into the car and sped off.

Then on Monday, SBCSO deputies said the two checked out of the Grand Canyon Inn in Valle.

Deputies released two still frames from surveillance video that shows them checking out.

SBCSO detectives are heading to Nevada to meet with Paris and to provide services.

Detectives will also be conducting follow up the investigation and will assist in the search to find Hetzel.

Authorities say that Paris' family is asking for privacy as Paris recovers from her recent experience.

SBCSO deputies said they are working closely with authorities in Nevada, Arizona and the FBI.
