SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -

With the help of their fellow chefs on Sunday, the staff at a flooded restaurant were getting back on their feet.

Over the July Fourth weekend, The Pig & Pickle in Scottsdale was flooded after a piece of equipment malfunctioned. Thirty-one employees were out of work for more than two weeks, but thanks to the community and a GoFundMe campaign, each employee was supported.

And today, seven Valley chefs came together to raise money for the restaurant, focusing more on helping the owners, than competing with each other.

"You know we stick together to help each other out. I mean the competition is less - the competiton is in a positive way. We're competitive in a positive way to help each other get better and be better and stay strong," said Keenan Boswort.
