Water Week: Tempe Town Lake
How great is it that we have a lake in the middle of our city? We're spending some time on Tempe Town Lake. Try a pedal boat, a standup paddleboard, a kayak or other fun boats.

- There's an interactive map of Tempe Town Lake that shows everywhere you can put in your own boat, as well as the location of rentals and classes at www.tempe.gov/lake
- The next intro to SUP paddling is TONIGHT, July 18, at 5:30 p.m. The one after that is July 22 at 8 a.m.
- The next SUP Yoga class is Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and includes sun salutations, lunges and downward-facing dog.
- Tempe Boat Rentals is open at 4 p.m. weekdays and from 10 a.m. 9 p.m. on weekends.
Enjoy splashing at night at Golfland-Sunsplash
For this week's "water week" we hit Golfland-Sunsplash in Mesa, where they've got some new offerings for Valley residents. New this year, you'll notice a new entrance to the park, a new bumper cars attraction for the kids, along with "night splash." Since summer days can get too hot for folks, you can instead enjoy splashing around at night, as late as 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday's.
