Gyuniku Miso Yaki
Serving size 4
Ribeye steak 24 ounces (cut thin 6 oz)
6 oz. mirin
6 oz. sake
5 oz. white miso (shiro miso)
1 tsp. Togarashi
1 oz. soy
1 clove garlic (grated or finely chopped)
1. Mix together all miso marinade ingredients into a small pot and bring to a boil. Mix occasionally to make sure your ingredients don't burn.
2. Once it has boiled, reduce heat and let stand 10 min.
3. Pound steaks with a meat tenderizer and coat steaks with the marinade.
4. Place steaks on hot grill to sear and reduce heat to continue cooking. Reduction of heat will allow for longer cooking time and not let the miso burn.
Cook to desired temperature and enjoy!
