The Wienermobile is in town!

The Wienermobile is an American icon that has been relished by multiple generations, so don't miss your chance to ketchup with this amazing vehicle while it's in town!

History of the Wienermobile:

  • The Wienermobile was introduced in 1936 when the nephew of Oscar Mayer, Carl Mayer, thought of the idea. Cruising down the streets of Chicago, the Wienermobile quickly became a popular sight to see and the demand for its appearance grew. Now, the Wienermobile travels the United States on a Coast to Coast Wiener Roast!
  • Today, the six active Wienermobiles are piloted by 12 Hotdoggers who travel the nation with a mission to spread miles of smiles!
  • To be selected as a Hotdogger, you really have to cut the mustard! Each year about 1,500 recent college graduates apply and only 12 lucky dogs are selected.
  •  For one year, the Hotdoggers travel the nation to attend hundreds of events. In an average week, they will meet over 2,000 people and will make countless memories.
  • At events, Wienermobile fans will have the opportunity to take pictures with the vehicle and receive their very own Wiener Whistle. (Wiener Whistles have been handed out since 1952).
