At least two people were taken to the hospital after a suspected wrong-way crash on the Loop 202 Santan Freeway on Monday night.
Just after 7:30 p.m., a woman got on the freeway at Kyrene Road going east in the westbound lanes, the Department of Public Safety said.
She tried to turn around so that she could go the right direction when she slammed head-on into a pickup truck, causing the truck to rollover. The woman then hit a third vehicle.
There was a total of three people hurt but one didn't need to go to the hospital.
The westbound side of the Loop 202 was closed for hours so drivers had to exit north to the Loop 101 Price Freeway.
It's unclear if impairment was a factor.
