A Phoenix man suffered minor injuries after a fire broke out at his apartment complex.
Jordan Davis knows he was lucky that his injuries weren't worse. And now, he's telling us his story.
The fire started around 4 p.m. at the apartment complex near 16th Street south of Bethany Home Road.
Davis actually ran from neighbor to neighbor, grabbing fire extinguishers to help fight the fire.
In fact, he had grabbed seven extinguishers to keep the flames under control until fire crews arrived.
Davis' neighbors are calling him a hero for his brave actions.
"I was just focused on putting it out," Davis tells us. "I was just spraying with extinguishers."
Davis suffered smoke inhalation and minor cuts on his hands. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition but was later released.
No firefighters were injured.
Crews were able to douse the flames before the fire spread to any other units.
There's no word on the cause of the fire.
