Dirty Bird Returns to the Nest

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -

Karlos Dansby is back.

The Dirty Bird, who was drafted by the Cardinals in the 2nd round in 2004, signed up for a third tour of duty in Arizona.  Dansby left the Cardinals in 2009 for Miami only to return in 2013.  After a stellar season, the 35-year-old linebacker signed as a free agent in Cleveland and played last season in Cincinnati.

Dansby led the Bengals in tackles last in 2016.  He told the media on Friday that 2017 won't be his last year and even taught 3 TV Sports Mark McClune the "Dirty Bird" dance.

Dansby is 1 interception from joining the 40 sacks & 20 interceptions club.  He would be the 5th player in NFL to reach the milestone.  Dansby has never been named to the Pro Bowl.
