SIERRA VISTA, AZ (AP) -

Police in Sierra Vista have released the name of one of the three people who died in a head-on crash involving two vehicles on the State Route 90 Bypass.

They say the accident occurred around 1 p.m. Tuesday and a section of the roadway was closed for more than three hours.

Police say witnesses who remained on scene reported that an SUV allegedly drifted into oncoming traffic and collided with a pickup truck.

They say the driver of the SUV has been identified as 49-year-old Timothy David Straight of Huachuca City.

The identities of the driver and passenger of the pickup truck are being withheld until relatives have been notified.

Police say their investigation of the crash is continuing, but it appears neither vehicle was traveling at excessive speed.
