A paralyzed dog found abandoned recently near Canyon Lake has a new family.
The Arizona Humane Society says Angel was adopted Wednesday after his inspiring story aired.
After arriving at the Humane Society, two employees fitted the 2-year-old German shepherd with a makeshift wheelchair.
But even though he was paralyzed from the waist down, Angel was able to get around in the wheelchair and became eligible for adoption.
