PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -

The iconic Macayo's Mexican Restaurant on Central Avenue just south of Indian School Road is moving and auctioning off some of its items.

All of the bidding for the memorabilia items will take place on the Auction Nation website. Registration is free, open to the public and only takes a few minutes.

There will be an open house preview from Tuesday, March 7 to Friday, March 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m at the Macayo's old building at 4001 N. Central Ave.

The auction ends on Monday, March 13.

Macayo's said it isn't relocating far.

"Macayo's on Central will be moving into a building just across the street at the southeast corner of Central Avenue and Indianola Avenue," said Sharisse Johnson, CEO of Macayo's Mexican Kitchen in a statement.
