NEW: Sketch of suspect who shot woman while she was playing Pokemon Go

PEORIA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -

Peoria police have released a sketch of a suspect wanted for shooting a woman in the face back on February 18.

Police said the 63-year-old victim was playing Pokemon Go inside her car in a parking lot at 84th Avenue and Monroe Street.

It was around 2:30 a.m. when police say several suspects appeared.

Apparently, there was some sort of fight and the men tried to steal the woman's car.

“They approached her,” Sheffert said. “There was a discussion about the vehicle and then one of the men shot her. She was shot in the face. She drove up here, called us."

The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Peoria City Hall has become a new hot spot for Pokemon Go players since a new Poke Stop popped up there.

 The shooter is still outstanding and Peoria police are seeking information on the identity of the suspect.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, approximately 17-19 years of age, approximately 5’07” tall or shorter, approximately 130-140 lbs. Police say he has short, dark brown hair, no facial hair, and is clean cut. He was wearing a white t-shirt and dark blue baggy pants.

Peoria police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual in the sketch.
