The Bike Barn has a long history of meeting the needs of bicyclists across the Valley, offering more than just standard service.
The Bike Barn is celebrating 60 years of friendly service from a knowledgeable staff. The shop started in 1957 as a humble Schwinn shop and in 1976 Frank Martin purchased it.
He expanded and remodeled it into the unique red barn structure that remains today. Despite its humble beginnings and stripped-down appearance, Martin would like people to know that the Bike Barn has all the components of a modern, high-tech cycling shop, offering a wide array of bikes and gear. Customers are drawn to the Bike Barn to find everything from mountain bikes, road bikes, hybrids, beach cruisers, electric bikes and kids bikes.
"We are a family-oriented business and want to have options for everyone," Martin says. Service is considered the top priority at the Bike Barn, probably a reason why the business has had a strong clientele for 60 years.

"It is great to be part of the Bike Barn story," said Mary Halfmann, the manager for almost 30 years. "I have clients who are buying their child's first bike here who also got their first bike here. That is an awesome legacy!" The Bike Barn has been working with many charities, schools, and businesses to promote cycling and a healthy lifestyle over the years.
The shop also offers group mountain and road rides. We want to encourage and help customers have fun with their bikes. It is also a good way to help educate them about how their bike works and the proper way to ride. We want to create positive lasting memories in everything we do and solve problems for our clients and community.
Stop by and be part of the Bike Barn's 60 year anniversary celebration April 8th and 9th. Bike Barn will have food, games and prizes during usual business hours.
