Two pickup trucks filled with kegs of beer, boxes of wine and bottles of booze. That's what was seized from a bar that was found to be operating without a license.

The alcohol was worth about $2,000.

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office and the State of Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control busted the bar “Razor Ridge” Friday.

The bar was located on a private property in the desert, just southeast of Havasu Heights Community of Lake Havasu City.

Detectives from the Department of Liquor Licenses and Control say they determined that the owner, identified as Troy Nelson, 43, of Havasu Heights, was operating a bar “dealing in liquor."

Detectives called for assistance from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office due to the amount of liquor being seized and the number of people at the establishment.

The bar had reportedly been operating for only a couple of weeks. Detectives seized $682 in cash and approximately $2,000 in alcohol.

Nelson was cited and released at the scene by the State of Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control.
