A convenience store clerk escaped serious injury after he was struck with a display case and case of beer thrown by several robbery suspects.

The three suspects remain on the run and Phoenix police need help finding them.

Just before midnight on Sunday, Feb. 25, the suspects grabbed some beer inside a 7-Eleven at 9910 W. Indian School Rd.

The clerk stood in the door and tried to stop them but two of the suspects ran off. The pair came back in and threw a case of beer at the clerk, while the third suspect who had stayed behind hurled a display case at him, Silent Witness Sgt. Jamie Rothschild said.

The suspects took off in a dark SUV.

The three men are described as Hispanic in their mid to late teens.
