Suspect grabs cash drawer in Circle K robbery

Police are looking for a man who ran out of a Phoenix-area Circle K with a crash drawer last month. 

The early-morning robbery took place on Friday, Feb. 17 at 5041 W. Lower Buckeye Rd.

Surveillance video showed the suspect paying for a bag of chips.

"When the victim opened the cash register, the suspect leaned over the counter and grabbed the cash drawer while pushing the victim away," Silent Witness Sgt. Jamie Rothschild said.

The suspect, described as Hispanic and in his mid 20s, sped off in a silver sedan with a black bra in front, Rothschild said.

The man is described as 5'10" tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has black hair and was wearing a red sweater and dark pants.
