The Loop 101 Pima Freeway was partially shut down due to law enforcement activity linked to a possible reckless driver on Monday.
The northbound lanes of the freeway were closed at Raintree Drive starting around 4:30 p.m. while troopers investigate on Monday afternoon. The southbound lanes remained open.
According to the Department of Public Safety, troopers were following a possible reckless driver that was stopped in that area. The suspect was taken into custody.
A woman was found in the car bleeding from a head, investigators said, and was taken to the hospital. It's unclear the relationship between the driver and the passenger and how she got hurt.
The freeway was fully reopened around 6 p.m.
DPS said possible impairment was involved.
