PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -

A fire destroyed a mobile home in the West Valley early Sunday morning.

It wasn't clear whether someone lived in the home at 107th and Southern avenues but no one was injured, Rural Metro Fire Capt. Jeff Chesleigh said.

Debris surrounded the home, according to firefighters. A shed also stood on the property.

Rural Metro requested fire units from Tolleson and Avondale help knock down the blaze.

Arson investigators were heading to the scene late Sunday morning, according to Maricopa County Sheriff's spokesman Calbert Gillett.

MCSO then said on Sunday afternoon that arson wasn't considered a factor and the fire was ruled an accident.

The exact cause, however, was not known.
