According to investigators, the first suspect approached the woman while in her car in the early morning hours of Feb. 18 and asked for directions. While she was talking to him, he took out a pistol and ordered her out of the vehicle.
She tried to drive away but was shot in the face. She drove several blocks and called 911.
As of Tuesday afternoon, she is still in the hospital.
The suspected shooter is described as a Hispanic male, between 17 and 18 years old, 5'7" or shorter, about 140 lbs with a thin build and was wearing a plain white t-shirt, baggy blue jeans and black shoes.
The second suspect, who approached the car with the shooter, is described as a Hispanic male, 17 to 18 years old, 5'10", about 200 lbs with an athletic build and was wearing a green Army-type jacket and dark colored jeans.
