2 brothers indicted in unsolved Glendale murder case

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -

Two men have been indicted for their alleged involvement in an unsolved Glendale homicide case.

Israel Carrasco, 19, and his older brother, Enrique Luna, 21, faces charges of first-degree felony murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault, conspiracy and illegally conducting an enterprise.

Luna is also facing a charge of misconduct involving weapons.

The victim, Christopher Gonzales-Cummings, 21, was shot in his bedroom in January 2016.

Two other adults and a child were inside the apartment when three men allegedly forced entry through the front door with guns.

One suspect allegedly held the two adults at gunpoint in the living room while the other two suspects shot the victim in his bedroom and stole some of his items.

This case was unsolved for almost a year.

The Glendale Police Department and the Attorney General's Office worked together to identify two of the suspects.

The investigation into the identity of the third suspect is ongoing.
