Loved ones remember Allison Feldman, 2 years after her unsolved murderPosted: Updated:
This week marks two years since Scottsdale resident Allison Feldman was found murdered in her own home. To this day, police still have no suspect.
On Friday night, Feldman's friends and loved ones gathered for a candlelight vigil to remember her.
Feldman, a 31-year-old medical sales rep, was killed February 17, 2015.
Feldman's boyfriend found her body inside her home near Granite Reef Road and Monterey Way in south Scottsdale.
Feldman's family is still searching for answers.
"Actually, I have more hope. I meet with the Scottsdale police every month and they're working hard," says her father Harley Feldman. "She was a great daughter and a great citizen of the state and did her best for people, so it's very hard for us to understand why this happened."
Police also have more questions than answers in this case.
"It's frustrating to not have to have something especially have some evidence in hand that we have and to not be able to match it up with somebody," says Det. John Heinzelman with the Scottsdale Police Department.
Officers collected 433 pieces of evidence from the scene the day Feldman's body was found, including her killer's DNA.
"We are still actively working it as if it just happened yesterday," says Heinzelman.
"We want him caught," says Feldman's father. "We just don't like the fact that he's free and she's not. We don't like the fact that he could do this to somebody else."
Police continue to interview possible people of interest.
There's a $10,000 reward if you have the tip that cracks this case.
