A concrete truck crash closed Loop 101 Pima Freeway northbound at McDonald Drive in the Scottsdale area for a time Friday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety tweeted that the freeway was back open shortly after 11 a.m., about 2.5 hours after the crash.

The crash caused quite a mess on the freeway, both in terms of debris to clean up and traffic.
The backup grew longer and longer as crews used a crane to pull the rolled truck back onto its wheels.
During the cleanup operation, traffic was exiting at McDonald, but drivers were advised to consider exiting ahead of the closure to avoid long delays.
Southbound lanes remained open throughout the incident.
