Two valley restaurants named on Open Tables’ 100 Most Romantic Restaurants

OpenTable just released its list of top 100 most romantic restaurants in the nation, and local Phoenix area restaurants Quiessence and Cafe Monarch made the list. 
The survey reflects the combined opinions of more than 10 million restaurant reviews submitted by OpenTable diners across more than 24,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The Cubs officially begin defending their World Series title today as pitchers & catchers report 

The Chicago Cubs begin defending their World Series title today, Feb 14th, as pitchers and catchers begin reporting for duty. Today, truly marks the start of Spring Training, whether you're a Cubs fan or not, as the World Series ring is up for grabs, and anybody's game. These guys will take the field Wed for those player's first workout, and then the full squad will join in on Saturday for a full team practice. The Chicago Cubs ended a 108-year drought when they won the World Series in 2016. We talk reporting dates, schedules and what to watch for.

Arizona Capitol Museum celebrates 105 years of statehood with special exhibit

February 14th, 2017 marks Arizona's 105th year of statehood. To celebrate, the Arizona Capitol Museum (AZCM) presents "From the Convention Desk" featuring items used by Constitutional Convention delegates to draft the state's keystone document, on exhibition in the Historic House Chamber. 

Statehood Day will also mark the long-awaited official opening of Common Grounds, the new specialty coffee shop in the AZCM. There'll be free coffee and cake to mark the occasion.

The Museum Guild will be giving their History Tour, free of charge, at 1pm - meet in the First Floor Rotunda for a fantastic trip through Arizona Capitol history!

This single-day exhibit will be available all day in the Historic Restored House Chamber on the AZCM's 3rd floor, Tuesday, February 14th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer visitor questions.
